Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
This policy explains what personal data LaunchLab HQ ("we", "us") collects when you visit our website or buy our apps, why we collect it, and the choices you have. LaunchLab HQ is operated by Antonis Michail, based in Cyprus. You can reach us any time at hello@launchlabhq.co.
Our apps store the budgeting data you enter (envelopes, bills, transactions and so on) on your own device by default. If you use a subscription that includes cloud backup and sync, an encrypted copy of that data is stored on our servers so we can back it up, sync it across your devices, and send the alerts and insights you turn on. We never sell it and never use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Information you give us: your name and email address when you buy an app or join our email list.
- Payment information: handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Usage and device data: standard information such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view, used to keep the site secure and to measure our advertising. For daily usage counts we store only a hashed (non-reversible) form of your IP address.
- Cloud backup data (subscribers who enable it): the budgeting data you enter is stored encrypted on our servers (hosted on Cloudflare). Our systems process it to provide your backup and sync and to generate the alerts and insights you enable. You can delete it at any time from within the app or by emailing us.
- Push notification tokens: if you turn notifications on, we store the delivery token needed to send them to your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in your device settings.
- Cookies and similar IDs: see the Cookies section below.
Why we use it and our legal basis
- To deliver your purchase and give you access to your app (basis: performance of our contract with you).
- To send order and account emails such as receipts and access links (basis: contract).
- To provide cloud backup, sync, alerts and insights if you subscribe and enable them (basis: contract).
- To send marketing emails only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time (basis: your consent).
- To measure and improve our advertising using the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only where you have consented to non-essential cookies (basis: your consent, or our legitimate interest where permitted).
- To keep the service secure and to meet legal and tax obligations (basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation).
Who we share data with
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
| Stripe | Payments and fraud prevention |
| Meta (Facebook/Instagram) | Advertising measurement (the Pixel and Conversions API receive hashed identifiers only) |
| Kit | Email list and newsletters (if you subscribe) |
| Resend | Sending order and transactional emails |
| Cloudflare | Website hosting, security, and encrypted storage of cloud backups |
| Apple / Google | Payment processing if you buy or subscribe inside the iOS or Android app, and delivery of push notifications |
We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an approved data transfer framework.
Cookies
We use essential cookies that make the site work, and, only with your consent, the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement (cookies named "_fbp" and "_fbc"). When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the banner.
How long we keep it
We keep order and tax records for as long as the law requires. We keep marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@launchlabhq.co. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).
Children
Our apps are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
